Israel has killed 300 hundred United Nations' workers
in the last 19 months in occupied Palestine's Gaza,
and yet the United Nations Secretary-General
still repeats, like a priest in a religious service
going through the ordained liturgy, again and again,
the holy words "Israeli hostages!" and the demand
to release them unconditionally, without a word
spoken of Palestinian captives, of whom at least
one dies each week in the bowels of Israel's
archipelago of prisons and prison camps.
