AS THE TREETOPS BATHE IN ORANGE SUNBEAMS

The Sun burns bright amidst

the trees in shadow,

and here I, setting aside

the laptop and the coffee mug,

am set for my first breath

of fresh Spring air

in the cooling dusk.
