ABELL 2146

For two hundred million years

the two galaxy clusters

have been colliding,

one falling through another,

in a cosmic dance of

merging.

In TV they are speaking

of a historic moment,

joining the NATO,

'finally' becoming a

card-carrying member

of the 'West'.

You might think

that's a long time,

two hundred million years,

but it's less than one

trip around the Milky Way

for our itinerant Sun.
