There are people who have the words,
and there are people who have the feelings,
and rarely are they the same; and if the former
pretend they have those feelings, tragedies
or farces ensue. Yet if the latter people pretend
they have the words, only pale ghosts
flitter on long dug graves, whose
mounds have sunk to earth.
