Paavo Haavikko once said that people
who write, dreaming of becoming authors,
without being published do so because
they have low self-esteem; how much
worse must be the self-esteem of sons of
entrepreneurial families who, from
a safe job in the office of the family firm,
write themselves into nationally famous
authors, editors and publishers of books?
If those sons would have had good
self-esteem, certainly the family firm
should have been enough for them...
