So many who bring up
the Holocaust seem to treat
its immense horror as
just a prologue to Israel,
and a shield to that state's
war crimes and human
rights violations.
It's catalogue of
human loss made
six million figures
painted on a shield
held before Israel's
occupation forces.
And of course
it was no prologue,
its mountain range
of bodies not just
a convenience to place
before growing
hills of bodies
Yet that's
how it's being
used by Israel
and it's 'Friends'.
