ON THE THREE HUNDRETH AND FOURTY-NINTH DAY OF THE YEAR

Beyond the termination

shock, in the heliosheath,

where the Sun would be

just a bright star to its

frozen cameras, Voyager 1

talks gibberish, in ones

and zeroes, to the void,

the far listening Earth

lost in the glare

of that bright star.
