They say "Be kind to yourself,"
but they really mean those
nice people, fluffy, hard-working
minor pillars of the community
who keep the wheels turning
around them and get taken
for granted. The kind of folks
we like, and which we aren't.
Nobody includes us when
they utter that sentence,
not even we ourselves.
