What have the words
achieved?
Nothing but
more words.
And in this
illiterate world,
where even an image
of a broken child
intestines pouring
out of their abdomen
is ignored
and the butcher of childhood
celebrated,
in this immoral world,
what worth
have words
going unread,
merely recording,
words after words
begetting words,
not change,
what worth such words?
