If someone would try to justify
the occupation of Tibet
and the genocide of Uyghurs
with the fact that over 100 million Han Chinese
probably died as a result of political violence
and political decisions that caused mass death
from the beginning of the Taiping Rebellion
to the end of the Cultural Revolution
no one would take them seriously,
beyond extreme Han Chinese nationalists themselves,
but when the same faulty logic
is used to justify Israel's crimes against humanity,
the faulty logic comes prime political currency
and past suffering of one ethnic-religious group
is accepted as giving a state the right
to commit Apartheid, ethnic cleansing and genocide.
