Having lost our old gods,
we yearn new ones from
the stars, with new answers
for old problems, and with
the old hope that someone
older and wiser would stand
beside and guide us, telling
us what to do, like parents.
But there are only us, now,
and we need to be the ones
who have to offer guidance
and come up with hope,
with the saving ideas.
