1
All these days
flowing into nothingness,
their source, the spring
and end of all existence,
from whose waters
chance weaved them
and us.
2
A poet writes,
these days and us,
they will not come
again,
yet listen to
the physicist who says
these days and us
have come before
and will come again,
and the poet claiming
otherwise will write
their words anew.
