AFTER TRANSLATING TWO POEMS BY WILLIAM BLAKE TODAY

Two William Blake's poems

translated, and now another

pot of coffee going

trying to find

in vain Henry Cowell's "Daybreak"

composed from his "Morning";

alas, not to be - so

I listen to "Seven Rituals of Music"

and keep drinking coffee

as the gray windy day

goes past in swaying branches.
