To his Muse
Why does talk of art and science
flow into sex? Why do I dream
of bending her over, having her
riding me
after talking arts of Egypt,
galaxies that mirror the Milky Way,
and poetry?
Because they are not
that different things,
the meeting of minds,
the meeting of bodies,
the ying and yang of being human,
and experiencing one intimately
one yearns yet deeper connection.
