Never in Arcadia, yet
passed many a path
leading there, unassuming,
with a glance, some
interest or none,
one or two
almost taking,
on this one-way lane
through life,
and only now do
the maps show clear
in the mind where
each path led
as this wide road
twisting
approaches
its end.
