All the people who support
or are silent about the genocides
taking place now
from occupied Palestine's Gaza
to West Papua, from East Turkestan
to Myanmar and Sudan,
but still vocally lament the Holocaust,
wondering how it could
have been allowed,
what it tells about humanity,
pondering how to make sure
the Holocaust is never forgotten,
while silent about the genocides
taking place or excusing them,
blaming the victims,
clearly don't oppose genocides
in practice, but only oppose
one genocide,
or genocides that are safely in the past,
genocides that nothing can be done
about but to talk and write,
to lay wreathes on old memorials,
and use their memory
to protect today's genocidaires,
helping them to carry out
their ongoing Final Solutions
against victims that could be saved.
