RELIGION IS HUBRIS

Religion is hubris; human beings

imagine supernatural beings,

a truth beyond earthly knowledge

- and then spend their mortal years

creating scripture and commenting scripture,

claiming to understand the godhead

and thus being equal to beings

they claim to be omnipotent...
