from the

unkempt hair

through the pair of angry holes as eyes

to the dismissive mouth

asking for a small mustache.

That said,

there is much of Poe

in Baudelaire.

The face of the failed artist

dying hating, raging against the world

lost in delirium.

Which brings us back

to Hitler.
