SHACKLED TO SANITY

Even madness

has been denied to me;

thus the world

tramples on and on

on those born with

a wooden spoon;

shackling them

as sane witnesses

like a defeated king

'invited' to watch

his captured men

fight with wooden

swords against obsidian

blade-handling Mexica.
