ON THE TWENTY-SIXTH DAY OF THE YEAR

On the desktop and the phone

the entire day, just shouting

about a massacre, with

some poetry on the side.

Thus goes a day when

between the curtains,

briefly, sun shone,  for

the first time in weeks.
