IN OCCUPIED EAST JERUSALEM'S SILWAN

In occupied East Jerusalem's Silwan

Israel hands Palestinians' houses

to illegal Zionist colonialists,

declaring it belongs to them

because Yemeni Jews owned the land

on which the houses stand

from 1881 to 1887,

a Jewish right to take

from Palestinians

what belonged to other Jews

not in their family tree

after 138 years,

but a Palestinian

loses their right to their home and field

whose ownership Israel accepts as hers

if Israel is able to deny her access

for 5 years,

just soldiers blocking access

for 5 years,

and another group of illegal Zionist colonialists

can move in.

This is what the 'West' means

when it praises Apartheid Israel

as a democracy,  a nation of laws

where justice rules,

a Beacon of Freedom that Shines its Light to the Entire World

whose courts are so marvelous

that no international courts

can have any say

and all international laws

are as dead

as 27 000 Palestinian children

murdered this century by the Israeli regime.
