A life passes

quickly

in the sound

of the siren

of the ambulance

coming, going.

You never

got as far,

to an ambulance,

like the one

now in balance

between life

and void.

It was all

in my hands

and I fumbled,

no loud sirens

coming, going.

Just your life ending.
