WHEN THIS WILL BE OVER

When this will be over, many will be dead

and far more will be living,

and perhaps we will be on separate sides

then, one on the bank on which stand

the living, the other on the one

on which shall lay the dead. But

the river between will keep flowing;

the river of time, of life and death -

and one by one, all who will stand

among the living when this will be over,

shall cross and go lie down

with those who this plague will take.
