Once dead,
we shall not
be resurrected.
Yet, something
of us lives on
in those
who remember us,
and although life renewed
is denied,
we shall die again
with the death
of each one
who knew us.
Thus death
triumphs over us
until
there is none
to hold a slice of
our life in
themselves.
