If anything good can be said about wars,
then let's say they are good of getting rid
of people whose poetry collections
are named after exclusive private schools.
Even if the war almost made
a human being out of him.
Am I unfair?
Of course.
He didn't name his collection,
his parents did - but they showed
that what most mattered
was the privilege he enjoyed.
