If I could live my life again,
I would make a quite different
set of mistakes.
I would run where I walked,
stumble where I jumped,
betray the same people
in different ways, bury
the same people at different
seasons in the same graves.
Write different poems
to lament different errors,
tell of yearning to live
my life again to make
a different set of mistakes.
