OF LOVE

When in love, we create

the greatest works of art

with our mind alone

from frail and fractured

mortal flesh and thought.

On the pedestal we raise

the perfection, that

which carries a faint

resemblance at best

to the one we may find.

Such is love, it evokes

an artist in every soul,

in every woman or man

intelligent and wise

it awakes a blind fool.
