We should ask where
were all the people
now aghast of Ukraine,
those who rage against
the Russian tricoleur
flying above Kherson,
when the same flag flew
on invading tanks
in Georgia and Chechnya
and above the ruins
of blasted Grozny,
and they were dumb?
