There is this belief now
that if you shout "Slava Ukraini!"
loud enough, you can drown
refugees on the Mediterranean,
sell Western Sahara to Morocco,
make Israeli Apartheid respectable,
and commit all kinds of other
terrible crimes, and have them all
whitewashed by those two words
and a pile of money escorting them,
enough to keep you saintly
to the end of your
political life.
