ON THE TWO HUNDREDTH AND SIXTY-SIXTH DAY OF THE YEAR

Difficult poetry is like all

difficult things, it should come

in short doses, fleetingly, and

give ample time to recover

before coming again to rouse

the brain to strain against

its rusted chains.
