The problem with broken people
is that so many of them will stay
among the shards of their past
lives if given the opportunity
to move on. Of those shards
they have built a rickety
hovel against the world, and
it has become a sheltering
home and a confining prison.
If you offer to lead them out,
so many will say no while
asking you to help them.
