ACCEPTANCE OF REALITY DOESN'T CHANGE IT

Being far less

than I should be

I can only blame

myself.

Having made

others' lives far

less than they've

should have been,

I can only blame

myself.

Acceptance of blame changes

nothing. It's an acknowledgment

of facts, not forgiveness or

reparations, not moving on

from the wrecks of lives.

Truth is just a truth,

not a balm.
