I saw two fair-headed twins, tall
and serenely beautiful, dancing
on a field, still barren and brown
under their bare feet, in white linen
night-shirts, and as they caroused
and leaped, long hair flowing,
their shirts rose showing their firm
buttocks and vulvas, innocently;
and it was Spring, having come
to dance the land alive after
cold Winter's long icy caresses,
green sprouting in her
dual footsteps.
