What a man at first observes in a woman,
so the cliché goes, are her breasts,
while his tongue says her eyes,
and what research shows that women
first observe in men, are their teeth.
The colour and depth of his eyes,
a barrel chest, muscles honed
at a gym or man-boobs, none tell
as much to the practical woman
as the state of his mouth.
