Writing poems is an attempt
to imprint part of oneself in
words and have them revive,
parasite-like, in other minds.
The poet becomes a monster
out of a science fiction movie,
waiting in each poem to unleash
themselves to unsuspecting victims.
Embedding itself in the host's
mind, it will change and shape,
and the victim's altered mind will
observe an altered world.
