The Americans don't bother to stop
the take-off of the C-17 Globemaster,
not for the sake of desperate Afghan people
hanging to the side of the plane,
just accelerate down the runway,
climb up to the sky and fly away,
leaving small black dots
falling between
heaven and earth.
