The lights that keep away the darkness
of a hundred years have burned constant
thirteen billion years. and remember:
The stars burn for you as much
as to Galileo when he gazed through his
scope and saw the moons of Jupiter,
the rings of Saturn, the phases of Venus,
and the glimmer of the Milky Way
as hundred billion fires burning,
now flaming as bright to you as him.
