"Fire and forget" is not a good way
to write poetry for most, and it's
a sin I'm certainly guilty of. There
are poets who could pull it of -
the Japanese masters of renga,
some of the Beat Generation at
their best. I'm not one of them.
Except once in a Blue Moon
on a leap year.
