People who don't look daily
at images of the new dead
emerging from the genocide
claim that we have grown
numb and indifferent,
moved on because they have,
because they have stopped
pretending that they cared, if
only a bit, about all the victims,
not just about the lords
of Apartheid in their segregated
communities, but also their victims.
