The Manicheans believed us to be
beings of light imprisoned in prisons
of flesh; but sometimes our flesh
is too tightly bound, imprisoned
by our minds; minds, that out of
fear or prudishness, silence
the yearning of the flesh
until blood flows cold
in our veins.
