Evocation after Doris Lessing(1919-2013)

As long as we treat the world as

something we pass through,

a stage for our woes,

a scene for our inner growth

to outwardly manifest; as

long as we think the world

(the planet, the cosmos)

a mere lodging-house, then

we are Fallen. That

somewhere beyond we

could find Salvation - that

is the Original Sin. To

accept that we are at home,

that the stage is greater

than those who perform on it;

that there is nothing beyond

for them - only those moments

at the stage; then, with

that acceptance, we are redeemed.
