So what to write, when
you have a poem to compose,
and the mind is light on thoughts?
A poem about writing a poem.
You would be surprised
how many poems, under
guises, are just that.
Even my favourite Chinese
authors, writing about staying
up late with tea and wine,
taking a brush and recording
down what the Moon evokes,
writing about writing a poem
to keep up the quota.
