What eyes have seen, unknowing,
giving for the mind to decipher,
the mind, an eunuch in its cage,
covets; things which it can never
have but through its servants sight
and touch and flesh, those retainers
that must live on its behalf, for its
dreams and appetites, serving this
mere voyeur of sensations hiding
behind a curtain in its locked cage.
