To entice her kindergarten-age daughter
to leave the beach, a mother tells her that
she would get raisins to eat when they get
back home. The daughter demands them
immediately: "Give me raisins or I will
hit you!" The mother answers, her
voice unchanged, "You are not going
to hit anyone." "Then give me raisins!"
