I could go and take a walk in the sunshine,
or I could make another pot of coffee,
translate a second Vachel Lindsay
listening to physics video, and
postpone my walk to the dusk,
into the long shadows, silences
of the rapidly falling night, and
it's an easy choice - I get up from
my chair and go and open the faucet
to pour out the words transformed.
