The death of the 16 000th child killed
is as terrible as the death of the 1st child
killed in the current fighting; the world
has no right to turn its collective gaze,
its eight billion individual gazes, away -
if it doesn't want to see children being
killed, murdered children laying dead,
then the world can end this and every
conflict spilling the blood of children.
