1
Nature's quick cold shower
falls over the landscape;
thunder fading in the distance,
stepping outside, standing
beside the rowan tree, I receive
its touch, cool raindrops
quenching the fires burning
inside - for now.
2
But when the rain intensifies,
hitting hard, nature's wrath
on lustful sinner seeking
deliverance, I rush to warm
myself in her words that
blaze with inner fire.
