ROHINGYA POET POSTS A PHOTOGRAPH OF A VICTIM AND ASKS WHY THE ATTEMPT ON TRUMP CAUSED A MEDIA STORM WHILE THE KILLING OF THE ROHINGYA DOESN'T

One eye looks, unseeing, upwards,

the other one, on the right,

closed amid bruises,

has the peace of death

the one on the left lacks,

frozen in the moment

when the part of the skull

above it exploded in a shower

of bone, blood and brain matter,

and in that frozen, unseeing

gaze of the single eye we

can see the surprise he felt

on that moment,

when he ceased to exist,

away from the cameras.
