Truth be told, seeing that image
all I could think of was being there
with you, and making the impossible
possible; yes - all those crude things
I've written flooding back into my
mind, making it one bonfire of lust,
and now that I have written poems
of a more chivalrous style, I can
say that what I write in them is
true, yet all those vulgar images
and needs and deeds, in their
own feverish truth, have also raged
as debauched visions in my mind,
in my deliciously agonized mind
that keeps returning to
those thighs.
