He consoled himself with the thought
that among the endless multiverse
there would be universes in which
they would have met in flesh
(and far more where they never
learned of each other's existence),
uncountable meetings in near infinite
amount of universes, and creation
repeating, would do so, endlessly,
never knowing it wasn't the first time.
